From an email I received a couple of weeks ago:
If you are who I believe you to be, I owe you a big ol’ bucket of thanks and good stuff. A link to a blog from [URL of an old blog I used to have maybe 5 years ago?] brought two nerds together and I married my nerd love wife last November. Still a fan. Love your work. Thank you for playing your part in our lives together.
Yeah. I think my reaction was something like “whaaatnowayi’mnottakingcreditforthat:):):)!!”
Pretty weird how a random email from a stranger just kind of made my day. Sometimes the universe is so scary/awesome.
Reading that email made me want to revisit said old blog, which I did, and quickly regretted after reading embarrassing entry after embarrassing entry. I think if I had the chance to meet my 20 year old self now, I’d probably shoot myself in the vadge. Although, reading this did make me laugh:
I’m getting pretty good at holding my farts in all day at work, except that when I actually get the chance to let one go, it requires much pushing and straining because I’ve just trained my rectal muscles so well.
The other day on the lone drive home, I tried to fart so hard I got a migraine. True story.
Still a true story.

Hi. I'm Rhea. 27. Web Designer Type Nerd Person. Sydney. This is my place on the internet where I collect internet things. I enjoy boardgames, 3D Magic Eye Puzzles and, piggybacks. Things I like about me: an ability to laugh at myself, my mega memory and, my above average parallel parking skills. Things I like about other people: an ability to make me laugh, a broad knowledge of random trivia and, a willingness to perform full body massages. I like to collect: business cards, records and, chess victories.
I am terrible at: making friends, accepting criticism, accepting praise, not fidgeting and, declining full body massages. I adore: beerguts, buzzcuts, bowlcuts, interested and interesting, hands in pockets, breakfasts in the afternoon, facial hair, metaphors, speech impediments, nostalgia and literacy. I am undecided about: tickling. I believe in: gut feelings, karma, tangents, lust, softness, mistakes, dinosaurs, magic, comfortable silences and most conspiracy theories. I also have a cat named Radioactive Man.
